Marcus Willis Draws World Number 59 Marcos Baghdatis at the Manchester ATP Challenger
This week in the Manchester Aegon ATP Challenger PTP player Marcus WIllis takes on No.1 seed and World number 59 Marcos Baghdatis.
Marcos Baghdatis when interviewed by the Manchester Evening News said:
“I’m really excited to come to Manchester and play some matches on grass,” he said. “Grass is probably my favourite surface and I always enjoy it when this part of the season comes around.
“I played in this event last year when it was in Nottingham and performed extremely well, so I don’t see why I can’t win the tournament.
“I don’t know much about who I’ll be playing in the tournament but I do know there is a good draw so it’s going to be tough.
