Carreras Queen Of Mallorca
In an amazing Week of Tennis, Local Tennis Star Amanda Carreras has won both the Doubles and Singles Tournament in Palmanova, Mallorca.
She beat Olga Saez Larra, The Spanish number one seed 6-4 7-6 in stunning game of Tennis, which sees Amanda lift her first Singles trophy of the calendar year.
We spoke to Amanda after this fantastic achievement:
“I feel really pleased to have won both the singles and doubles titles. It’s no easy feat as you have to play 2 matches per day. I feel great after the recent injuries and this win will give me the confidence to keep on climbing the world rankings and achieve greater things this year. I would like to thank the many well wishers who have supported me over the week.”
