About the gallery
Roberta named this gallery 'The Kyffin Gallery' in honour of the artist: Sir Kyffin Williams. She met him on various occasions and he was her hero. He was a man of integrity, a tall utterly British gentleman, honourable, immaculate, self deprecating and charming; and of course, a genius with paint.

He would never sell a painting to her, sadly, having contracted to sell all his works to two other galleries only, though one day he amazed her by giving her a little oil painting as a gift. She will always treasure it.
About the propreitor
Roberta studied at Pipers Corner School for girls at Gt Kingshill, Buckinghamshire and after working towards her History of Art degree at Christies Auction House, in the fine and decorative arts, she opened a business in London specialising in paintings and fine jewellery and became a dealer on the prestigious antique fair circuit in Britain, including those of Lapada and Cinoa.

Six years ago she took time out to collect paintings by her favourite artists, travel the world, and study interior design until finally, last year, she settled in the wonderful small market town of Woodstock, Oxfordshire.

She purchased a delightful Cotswold stone business premises in the centre of Woodstock, opposite the famous Feathers Hotel, where she welcomes visitors and sells a wonderful and colourful array of paintings by many well known, as well as some unknown artists. She also sells quality antique furniture and decorative objects.
