I am a 23 years old professional tennis player from London. I started playing tennis when I was four years old as my parents and siblings all played. My home club and the first place I played is The Roehampton Club in south-west London. I was one of the best juniors in Europe at U12 and represented Great Britain until I was 14. When I was 15 I got glandular fever which stopped me from playing for 18 months, and after this I struggled a lot with injuries so I could not compete at all in ITF juniors. When I was 18 I decided to go and play college tennis in America and went to the University of Memphis where I built up my fitness and improved my game a lot. My highest NCAA rankings were no.3 in doubles and no.56 in singles. I graduated from Memphis in May 2014 and have been playing professionally since then.

In the first year of playing professional tournaments I have gone from having no ranking to being ranked 710 in singles and 298 in doubles. I have won four professional doubles titles and reached 2 singles semi finals. I have been training at Gosling Tennis Academy in Welwyn Garden City since September last year being coached by Tom Corrie and also Justin Sherring.

One of my main goals of my tennis career is to play Wimbledon; and if I keep improving at the rate I have in the past year, then I am sure my ranking will keep rising and I can make this dream a reality. As there is not much money to be made in futures tournaments I am always looking for ways to fund my tennis and make my career as feasible as possible as I don’t have a sponsor apart from getting my rackets from Tecnifibre.
